Hi guys i'm Lou Waldock-Biggs, Welcome to Lou's Visual Archives. I am a fashion photography graduate creating narrative-driven content at the intersection of high-fashion editorial, commercial e-commerce, and live runway media. My creative practice balances striking, cinematic human portraiture with crisp, high-end still life product and jewellery photography. From editing detailed lookbooks for sustainable fashion houses to capturing the fine textures of luxury accessories, I approach every project with strict attention to lighting, composition, and brand identity. In Our Own Lights
An Ongoing Editorial Exploration of Identity, Representation, and Radical Self-Acceptance.
In Our Own Light is a living archive and an ongoing conceptual publication born out of a desire to challenge the traditional boundaries of the fashion industry. Conceived as a graduate thesis at Bath Spa University, the project has evolved into a continuous creative movement that operates at the intersection of avant-garde styling, fine-art portraiture, and authentic documentary storytelling. The project exists to center voices and lived experiences that the commercial fashion landscape has historically overlooked — focusing deeply on disability visibility, neurodivergence, body size diversity, and fluid gender expressions. We firmly believe that clothing and imagery should be tools for elevation and empowerment, rather than exclusion. Every frame is built on a foundation of radical empathy, collaboration, and bold creative direction. By subverting standard commercial tropes and pairing our subjects with expressive, 'out-there' independent design, In Our Own Light strips away tokenistic diversity to showcase individuals exactly as they deserve to be seen: boldly, authentically, and entirely in their own light.
